Our 2022 goals
A Place for Healing
Peace at Home has provided services to a staggering number of survivors seeking a source of hope during the pandemic, wildfires and economic hardship while also experiencing abuse.
If you have not already heard the great news, we were awarded a grant to purchase hotel in 2021 to provide services that promote safety, healing and resilience.
We have been able to build our capacity and design a space for independence and rebuilding lives. Help us raise funds this year to renovate rooms that will create community within the hotel including a healing room for support groups and individual healing practices like meditation, prayer, yoga, art and more.
Our goals are to also remodel a children’s play room, community kitchen, outdoor patio, laundry facilities and common areas to seek peer support.
